Mercè Alsina Jodar (Barcelona, 1966) is an art critic, independent curator and journalist. Since 2015 she has been part of the Art, Globalization, Interculturality Research Group (AGI/ART) of the University of Barcelona. She is an art critic and member of the Catalan and International Association of Art Critics. She has curated several exhibitions and published in different formats on art. She has been an advisor to the Panòràmic Festival since 2020. On the theoretical side, she is the author of the studies Art of the 80s and 90s in Catalonia. Aesthetic migrations during the first years of democracy’ (2012) and Massacre. Post-Photographic Logics in the Paradigm of Necropolitics (2020). As a director, screenwriter and producer, she is the author of different news, reports and documentaries.
