Italian architect and cultural strategist Maurizio Molini will present a talk exploring the intersection of contemporary art, architecture, and photography through a series of collaborations with internationally acclaimed photographers, including Carlo Benvenuto, Marcela Cernadas, Armin Linke, and Nobuyoshi Araki.
Through his research project, arteindustria®, Molini has developed innovative partnerships between artists, architects, and industry, creating opportunities for contemporary photography to engage with questions of place, identity, production, and the built environment. His approach brings together diverse creative disciplines, demonstrating how photography can operate beyond the gallery and become part of broader cultural and architectural conversations.
Drawing on decades of experience and extensive travels throughout Asia, Africa, and the Americas, Molini will reflect on the role of collaboration in shaping contemporary photographic practice and discuss how his work has created new platforms for artistic production and cultural exchange.
This talk offers a rare insight into the relationships between photographers, architects, institutions, and industry, revealing how interdisciplinary partnerships can expand both the reach and relevance of contemporary photography.
